This is a spinoff story and I wrote from what actually happens in the canon events. Just to have a little fun with it y’know 😉
TL;DR - Warez and Kuma had just gotten done eating at a diner when Kuma’s old antagonist, Dynamo, steps onto the scene wanting to put the hurt on him.

The two would say goodbye to their waiter before walking out of the diner after an entire day of training with one another. Kuma had chosen this place because the food was incredible and Warez couldn’t help but agree after filling his tummy up. As the chimera and dragon would walk back to Kuma’s kingdom, they would be stopped by an unexpected figure walking its way out of an alley. 

“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the man of the hour. How was that meal of yours? I hope it was good 'cause it’s gonna be the last one you’ll ever get.” The hooded man said before tossing aside his cloak to reveal himself. 

Warez being confused by the random appearance of the stranger looks over to Kuma to get his thoughts, but instead, he sees his friend sweating bullets. It’s like the color faded from his face as the hairs stand up while a drop of sweat can be seen running down his cheek. 

“W—what the…how are you even here right now?!” Said the chimera in a shaky tone. 

“Kuma you know this guy? You don’t look so good.” Warez asked. 

“That’s Dynamo, and well it’s kind of a long story.” Kuma nervously said. But before anything else could be said the large green orca decided to speak up. 

“And as fun as it would be to catch up, I think we should go on and cut this little reunion short shall we.” Dynamo chuckled before lifting his crystal arm and pointed his finger upward. 

Kuma watched closely to see what Dynamo was up to, but Warez with his spacial awareness knew something was coming from underground and had to get out of there quickly. 

“MOVE!” Shouted the dragon before pushing Kuma aside. The moment he was pushed, the two narrowly avoided a few large purple crystals that came spearing out of the ground trying to make the two become shish kebabs. The dragon and chimera would look back at the purple Earth jutting itself from out the ground before the two got back to their feet getting ready to defend themselves. 

“Well that’s a relief, it would’ve been shameful if I took you guys out right away. I’d enjoy watching you guys struggle while fighting for your lives.” Dynamo said confidently. 

“Don’t worry Kuma, I got this,” Warez said before dashing off. 

“Warez wait!!” Kuma shouted out, “This guy is dangerous.”

“Do you know who I am?” Warez said before getting within close range, jumping up to the orca’s face, and rotating his body ready to round-hound kick the foe. 

“I live for danger!” Expecting his kick to land, he thought this guy was going to be a piece of cake until his attack was blocked. Stunning Warez, the grin on the orca’s face would widen showing his sharp teeth before speaking up,

“Well that was cute,” Dynamo would quickly grab onto Warez’s ankle and hold it tight before saying, “But you’re gonna have to do a lot better than that to even make me budge!”

Warez being a nonthewiser learned he was in for a rude awakening when his assailant slammed him on his back into the ground making him cough up saliva before getting raised into the air again and slamming him onto his face nearly knocking him out. Only random sounds can be uttered by the dragon before Dynamo began rag dolling him as if he were the Hulk himself. Kuma seeing this all go down knew he had to jump into action fast and began sprinting towards his friend. 

“WAREZ!” Kuma shouted aloud before getting on all fours to run even faster towards him. Dynamo would briefly stop his onslaught seeing his nemesis coming to aid his friend, he would have a devilish smile on his face and call out to Kuma. 

“Since you want him so bad, then here have him.” The orca would grab Warez by the tail, spin around, and launch him like he was a professional hammer thrower. The dragon’s body instantly makes its way in front of Kuma, startling him before having his friend’s body slam right into him sending the two tumbling backward. Kuma would gain his wits about him and look over to Warez to see if he’s alright.

“Warez are you ok?” 

“Ugh, Bazithrax how many times have I told you soap isn’t for eating…silly.” Warez with spirals in his eyes would only utter some nonsense before passing out. 

Even though things were getting pretty serious, Kuma couldn’t help but smirk at his friend’s remark. Seeing his friend pass out, mumbling some words, he puts his friend down as he is relieved his friend is still alive. Just being crazy as usual. 

“Phew he’s ok. Dammit Dynamo. Couldn’t stay dead, can you?” Kuma growled at Dynamo. 

“True you may have destroyed my body the last battle we had, but my spirit remains. Still, here with a new body I now claim thanks to the Organization Laxus had made in my absence” Said Dynamo, raising his crystal arm and clutching it” 

“Tch… at least I defeated you once so I can do it again,” said Kuma sending out an air blast at Dynamo as he withstood the strong wind and started to send out a barrage of crystal shards at Kuma. 

“At least I won’t make that same mistake twice, Kuma. You had fallen once against me as well.” Dynamo retorts. 

Kuma took out his dual blades as they glowed blue and blocked off the shards as he was the most experienced fighter against Dynamo and protecting his unconscious friends. 

“Times really have changed while I was temporarily away, all the construction and metal buildings you have there. Back then you mortals used nothing but sticks and mud for shelter.” Dynamo said as he lifted a restaurant that Kuma and Warez were in and lifted it easily as if it was light as a feather and threw it at Kuma. But the chimera just easily went through it thanks to Kai’s poison power he melted through with no scratches. 

“Oh geez, Warez will not be happy waking up to this.” Said Kuma as he saw the destroyed restaurant. 

“Forget that! Stay focused in the fight, or I’ll take over” Kai yelled as he made sure Kuma was still aware of the fight as another building was flipped towards Kuma.

“Geez Dynamo…for a demon with all this flipping I would’ve guessed you were excited for Overcooked 3 to come out,” Kuma said not looking surprised at the falling building as he dodged it. 

As the ground trembles, Warez begins to slowly regain consciousness before jolting himself back upright and feeling a sharp pain in his back. He would think to himself ‘damn I might’ve taken him a little too lightly, but he’s not going to catch me by surprise again’. After looking around he would see the city block they were on had been flipped upside down with the road and buildings being torn apart. 

“What the hell happened?” Warez whispered before looking over at where the diner used to be. “My favorite DINER! NOOOOOO!” 
He would slam his fist into the ground out of sheer rage before saying, “I’ll never forget you.”

Understanding the fight had been moved elsewhere, he would lock onto their mana signatures and rush on over as fast as he could to see Dynamo and Kuma in combat and see the green orca having the upper hand against the chimera. Now was the time for Warez to take a stand and join the fray by wanting to get in a sneak attack. He waves his hands in the air which summons a large anthropomorphic monstrous sunflower from up out of the ground. Warez would stand on top of its head and the two together would begin to gather energy from the sun. The beast would open its mouth and gather all the solar energy at one point making a bright shining light ready to fire off at any second. 

“Hey, tuna breath!” Warez would yell at Dynamo getting his attention before continuing. “How about you lighten up a bit.”

Kuma sees Warez and what he’s about to attempt to do as Dynamo turns and sees the yellow dragon has awakened and sees him charging an attack. “Wait Warez no! Don’t use that!” 
 
But the only thing on Warez’s mind was to get some payback and rectify his mistake of getting molly-whooped in the first two seconds of the fight. With his chloromancy, he commands his beastly flower to fire which creates a large shockwave when the blast is released. The beam is so powerful it rips chunks of the earth out of the ground as it travels to the orca. 

As the beam reached Dynamo, there was a shockwave as it made contact, and the smoke filled up Dynamo’s area, making Warez think he got him. 

“Hell yeah, direct hit!” Warez proudly said puffing out his chest. 

Kuma gasped as he watched the smoke get cleared with Warez celebrating. Then the smoke started to clear as Warez and Kuma saw Dynamo’s eyes glowing bright purple in color as his crystal arm shined brightly as if it was the sun itself.

“Hehe thanks for the energy dragon, so here’s my thanks,” Dynamo said

“Oh shit…” And to Warez’s surprise, he saw Dynamo extend his hand and suddenly the beam itself that he used was reflected right back at him, causing an even bigger explosion.

“Warez! Dynamo, the only thing you want is me! Not him!” Kuma shouted as he jumped from above to the ground, getting all fours as he charged at Dynamo.

“What’s the thing you mortals say?” With a sinister smile Dynamo gets in position as Kuma attempts to jump-kick him but Dynamo catches the leg. “Oh yeah, don’t poke your nose into something that doesn’t belong!”

He smirks as he swings Kuma around and throws him in the air. But Kuma was prepared by twisting and orienting his body to get his balance and landing on all fours before jumping instantly as crystal spikes immediately sprouted up from the ground. Kuma continued running on all fours continuing to dodge the crystal spikes he got closer to Dynamo before taking out his dual blades and starting to clash with Dynamo. The orca would summon his crystal Halberd in his right hand and start countering the swords with his crystal arm and other crystal spells. 

The Chimera and Demon Orca continued clashing at each other at close range, aware of each other’s abilities since they fought each other before.

“I swear Dynamo when I’m done with you, you won’t bother hurting or using other people ever again!” Kuma shouted as he swung one of the blades toward Dynamo’s neck, but Dynamo caught the sword with his crystal arm.

“My defeat against you may have delayed my plans. But no matter, after I’m done with you I’ll continue the ritual of “Crystal Palace” once more and finally become the God of legend!” Dynamo grinned as his and Kuma’s eyes locked in an intense clash.

“As if you can end me that easily. Last time I checked—” Kuma said as he grunted and head bashed the demon at the head, making Dynamo flinch as Kuma went behind him and grabbed him by the hip. “I’m not that easy to kill!” shouted as he suplexed Dynamo back slamming him on the ground, and bashing his head.

“Gah!” Dynamo grunted. 

After getting headbutted and landing hard on the back of his head, the stunned Dynamo would groan and shake his head, trying to get back to his feet. But before he could get off his knees, the ground below him would begin to crumble and what came out shocked him. And what came out was none other than the yellow happy-go-lucky dragon giving Dynamo one mean uppercut to the chin which sends him crash landing into a nearby building. 

“Warez, you’re ok!” Kuma shouted out in glee. 

“Of course I’m alright, did you forget who you’re talking to,” Warez replied even though he looked like he’d seen better days. 

“I thought you were done for, how did you escape?”

Flashback to earlier events moments after Dynamo redirects Warez’s attack 

As the bright yellow beam hurls its way towards the mancer, like a deer in headlights he would be shocked before hopping into the mouth of his monstrous plant summon and instantly burrowing itself into the ground moments before the attack connected. While Kuma and Dynamo are deep in combat, Warez acts like roots and slithers through the earth and stops below the two fighters locked face-to-face waiting for his moment to strike. And that moment couldn’t have come at a better time once Kuma got the upper hand and suplex the hulking demon orca over himself and down to the ground. 

Flashback end and back to the present

The two mages would give each other a high five before feeling the earth tremble and feeling a destructive power explode where Dynamo went flying which cleared out the surrounding area.

“I think that’s enough playing around. No more games.” Dynamo said before putting his feet shoulder-width apart. The atmosphere all of a sudden changes as a dark ferocious power can be felt bubbling up inside of the orca. His power would begin to rise to where the pressure was so strong Warez and Kuma held up their arms to try and stand firm from the force alone. The dragon would think to himself ‘Did this guy really just say we were playing around…and that he’s now getting serious?’

“ALL RIGHT TIMEOUT!!” Warez would shout starting Kuma beside him and halting Dynamo from his power up. Kuma and Dynamo made a confused face.

“What?!” Dynamo and Kuma said simultaneously.

Warez would turn to Kuma, grab his shoulders, and shake him before saying,
“Who the hell is this guy?!” 

“What?!” Kuma responds

“You heard me, what are we dealing with here!?” Warez reiterated. 

“You’re not seriously asking me for a lore dump right now are—“ Kuma would begin to say before getting cut off by Warez shaking him more violently. 

“This guy hits like a semi-truck, can reflect damn attacks, and has a DAMN CRYSTAL ARM!!! Yes, I need some explanation here…ANYTHING!” Warez begged. 

As the two began to bicker Kuma would explain who Dynamo was while a vein was beginning to appear against Dynamo’s temple getting more annoyed that they were ignoring him. 

“What the hell are you guys doing? Did you just forget ab—“ 

“AND YOU!!” Warez would interrupt Dynamo mid-sentence before making his way towards him. Kuma would beg Warez to stop as he doesn’t know who he’s messing with but he insisted on giving the orca a piece of his mind. 

“Listen here motherfucker, I can forgive people for many things. But the one thing I won’t ever stand for is someone getting in the way of me and my favorite diner, which you so happened to completely destroy!” Warez now would have walked right up to Dynamo and gotten right in his face.

“If you think I’m gonna stand by idle and let you get away with such a thing then you have another thing coming you overgrown mutated green sea slug. ‘Mister I-Can’t-Keep-Track-Of-My-Limbs’, you look like a goddamn eggplant in that outfit. And furthermore—“

The triggered face came on Dynamo’s face as Warez just kept talking with Kuma gasping at the comments Warez just said. “Oh Damn!” Kuma gasped. Dynamo just growled without saying a word as he straight up punched at Warez’s face, cutting him off mid-sentence, and knocking him out in one go which sent him dragging along the ground a couple of meters away.  

“Oooo, you shouldn’t have done that,” Kuma said taking a few steps back. 

“Haha, why? Are you going to get upset over it? Dynamo boasted. 

The clouds in the sky soon began to stir and darken. 

“Oh, not me. Him.” Kuma would respond before pointing to Warez lying face-first in the dirt. 

Then suddenly a bolt of lightning would strike Warez and everyone in the area could feel the pressure change. His body lying in the road begins to spark with electricity before exploding with lighting, hearing an aggressive thunderous roar emanating from it. The dragon would slowly begin to stand up and turn around with his eyes now glowing yellow and filled with lightning before powering back down.

“Kuma, I’m done playing around. Let’s put this guy down together. You ready?” Warez vented while getting into a fighting stance. 

Kuma would follow suit and ready himself making the demon orca smile knowing this fight was about to heat up. Dynamo would laugh before saying,
“Try as hard as you like but know your defeat is inevitable.”

There would be a silence in the air as both sides would stare each other down. In the background, one of the destroyed buildings would crumble signaling the start of round two. Or round three? Warez lost count since he was knocked out a few times before getting serious for real. Anyways, Kuma and Warez would make a beeline straight toward the demon before splitting both ways to surround him. Dynamo would watch closely noticing the two separate last second, Kuma circling around to his left side and Warez to his right. The dragon would leap into the air, cover his foot in lightning, and dive kick down onto the orca while Kuma would pull out his sword and try to cut the demon down. 

But in true final boss fashion, Dynamo wasn’t going to go down easy and blocked both of the protagonist's attacks with ease. Looks like our heroes are going to need to kick it up a notch to take down this dastardly foe. Tune in next time for the epic conclusion.
