Although the cow-taur lady Sumati may have come from high-society, she felt much more comfortable amongst the common people, even taking a humble job as a janitor on the Pioneer. Where in her youth she had been pressured with her family's legacy and being praised as if she was a minor deity, leaving all that behind had been liberating. She finally had a genuine connection with people and any compliments she got from them felt more genuine and earned. One of these people was very special to her: doctor Tria Dalton. "Born" from the backside of her sister Sabrina, the wolftaur without a rear half, she had found a connection with the humble janitor, quite literally. The two of them can be occasionally found with their bodies connected to each other, and Sumati walks around the ship with only her front half out of solidarity with Tria.

But on an occasion like the one displayed above, Sumati likes to be whole. For this ball, she is dressed in a simple traditional commoner's dress (although the purple colour is the only hint towards her origins from high-society). Tria, having spent more than a decade in space, has chosen a more modern outfit, a custom tailored dress which fits her tightly, yet elegantly, with a striking gradient from light at the top to dark blue at the bottom. The two lovers are enjoying a dance together, and while they're standing in the spotlight, the two of them can barely hide a blush. An odd couple together, but a lovely couple nonetheless...
