named for his white fur, Mangetsu was said to be born under the full moon.
in his human form he is a young schollar studying mythology, history and magic. his ambition is to be an onmyoji (a magician who work for the emperor) like his hero Abe no Seimei, who also was said to have kitsune blood (yet seimei was NOT a full kitsune). his hoshi no tama (a jewel that gives kitsune their power) is located on his right fore-paw and in his human form it appears as a small, round lump on his wrist. he lives out side kyoto and plays ocational tricks on kyoto citizens, particularly snobby nobles.
