Ghostling had always enjoyed sending her spirit life in Canterlot Castle's gardens.
But one evening, while she was admiring the flowers beginning to bud that evening, she noticed a bright, glowing beam, grow high into the sky.
What was it?
Was it a rainbow? A magic spell from a nearby unicorn? Or had a creature broken free from Tartarus?
Ghostling would probably never know, as she is bound to this garden.
But that doesn't stop her wondering what it could be.

So she used to be an assistant for Celestia when she was younger, long before Luna's banishment to the moon.
When she was alive her name was Asher, and she would be the one to tell Celestia of any upcoming appointments, handle paperwork and pass instructions on to other staff and guards.
But when Nightmare Moon came around and the battle took place, the castle had taken a lot of damage as a result, and unfortunately a large piece of debris landed on her and ended up crushing her. Celestia held a lavish funeral for her and now she lives in the Centerlot Royal Gardens, watching Celestia grow and learn as she goes through her durites, and prepares Twilight for her new role of ruler of Canterlot.
She now goes by Ghostling, and she knew what happened was nothing more than an accident and collateral damage. She never felt anger for her death, and never held a grudge against celestia.
