I think the theme for this book was "Running", or maybe just "Speed" but for awhile I couldn't think of a good gag to draw for this. I ended up drawing the wolf but still wasn't sure how to make it funny beyond just the drawing. I showed the work in progress picture to KP who pondered why somebody would be rushing out in this state and the explanation fell into place.

However if the theme for this book was "Coffee" then I made all that previous stuff up and I have no idea at all how this came about.
