Spring is here!
Uploaded to commemorate Earth Day and Easter.

The images of our mistakes are futile fruitless words.
Falling into emptiness making everything worse.
The angel at my side she gives me good advice.
But I refuse to even listen I just do what I like.
All the endless confusion hanging round all the time.
I wanna run away to somewhere where all the time is mine.
I don't care if I'm misunderstood, I don't care at all.
I'm a worried man. I'm gonna sort it out.
I'm gonna watch it fall.
Blind among the flowers I'm unable to see.
Wild among the flowers; nothing means nothing to me.
Nothing means nothing to me.
"Blind Among the Flowers" by The Tourists
(The band Annie Lennox and Dave Stuart were in before they formed The Eurythmics)
(This song was in my head when I came up with the idea for this drawing.)
Derpy Hooves belongs to her loving fans.

I dunno, positing this on the Easter weekend makes me wonder if there's some stranger religious significance behind the character. An even more naive innocent among a community of naive innocents.
Jung would've had a field day with the iconic archetypes of most of the ponies... coupled with their externalized physical manifestations of their persona into a stigmata on their rumps in the form of a 'cutie mark.'
Then he would have chuckled, and said I spend too much time being a smart-ass and thinking about cartoon ponies.
