Artistic Expression | Craftycorn TF MC
It had been around a day since Catnap had come back to life, and he’d managed to rifle through Alice’s (His host) contacts to find some people to act as his friend’s bodies. Randomly, he’d selected the contact known as ‘Olivia’ and texted her asking her to come over to Alice’s house.
Catnap had decided to bring back Craftycorn back first, so he grabbed her necklace, then climbed on top of the doorframe and began waiting…He snickered mischeviously as he waited.
After a while of waiting, a woman walked into the house. She shut the door behind her and began to look around, presumably for Alice.
“Alice? I got your text! Everything okay?” Olivia called out.
As soon as she finished talking, Catnap held Craftycorn’s necklace over Olivia’s head and dropped it onto her. It slid down onto her neck perfectly, and Olivia was immediately taken aback with shock as she looked at the necklace.
“What the hell…? Where did…? What is…?” Olivia turned around and looked up to see Catnap up on the doorframe (He barely fit up there) and immediately let out a sharp cry of fear and shock, stumbling back over the coffee table and falling to the floor.
“OH CRAP ARE YOU OKAY-?” Catnap cried out with worry. He then jumped down off the doorframe and accidentally landed flat on his face.
“Wh-What the hell are you?!” Olivia yelled, clumsily trying to get to her feet and take the necklace off of her. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to do either. Especially the latter, as it seemed the necklace was stuck to her completely.
“Urrrgh-! What’s happening-?! Come on-?!” It was then that Olivia felt her chest beginning to itch, and instinctively she went to scratch it, only to feel something…soft. She looked down to see cream-white fur beginning to spread across her chest. And it was slowly making its way up towards her neck.
She let out an even louder cry of fear and desperately tried to scratch all the fur off. But the most she did was briefly assuage the itches that were spreading. “M-Make it stop! What’s going on?!” She yelled.
At that moment, Catnap stood back up and stumbled over to Olivia, who immediately tried to back away. “H-Hey it’s um, not as bad as it seems-“ Catnap tried to speak, only to be cut off by Olivia, who’s fur had spread to her arms and legs and was working its way up her face. “Who or what are you?! What the fuck are you doing to me?!” As she finished yelling, Olivia’s nose melded back into her face, becoming two small slits. After that, her jaws stretched out forward, becoming a horse’s snout.
As Olivia fearfully felt her new snout, Catnap tried to explain himself once again. “I-It’s not me doing it! It’s the necklace!” Explaining oneself was always Bubba’s strong suit anyways.
Prompted by that last statement, Olivia began to savagely claw at the necklace’s string, nearly drawing blood with how furiously she was trying to get it off. At that moment, her hair began to turn a bright blue color and grow all the way to her back. Right after that, a tough horn began to push its way out of Olivia’s head. It didn’t cause any pain, but Olivia wasn’t preoccupied on that right now. The final change to her head would come after her ears grew out and stood straight up at the side of her head.
Catnap worriedly grabbed Olivia’s hands and tried to hold them in place. “C-C’mon! Please just calm down! You’re gonna hurt yourself!” He whimpered.
“B-Better than being wh-whatever you’re…” Olivia’s head suddenly felt lighter than air. She found herself unable to focus on any thought or memory. New memories were beginning to show up in her head. Unwelcome memories that she knew weren’t hers…
Or…were they…?
“N-No…I’m…that’s not…r-right…I…” Crafty- Olivia held her head, and as she did so, she could feel her hands unconsciously curling up into fists. Following that, her hands turned the same blue color as her mane, and her fingers and thumbs all fused into each other, effectively turning her hands into hooves.
“Eh…? O-Oh my- w-wait that’s not…those aren’t…ngggh…” Olivia was trying her absolute hardest to struggle against the new consciousness forcing her out. She was so focused on that she couldn’t even comprehend her feet going through the same changes as her hands, receding and taking on a more circular shape as they changed into hooves. At that point her shoes fell off, and Olivia’s clothes began to vanish off of Craftycorn’s body.
Olivia fell back, breathing heavily. Her resistance was seconds away from breaking, and soon enough, her consciousness would be pushed away entirely, and Craftycorn would finally surface. She held her eyes shut and rubbed her head repeatedly to try and assuage the heavy feeling that had surfaced up in it. But in the next moment, she’d be swept up into a hug from Catnap, who was jumping up and down in excitement at the sight of his friend.
“Aaaaah! Crafty I’m so happy to see you again!” He chirped happily.
“Ech-! C-Catnap-!” Craftycorn said, her voice nearly smothered out by Catnap.
Speaking of Catnap, after hearing Craftycorn speak, he pulled back. “S-Sorry- Are you alright?” He asked, tilting his head.
“Y-Yeah, haha…you were just a little too tight there. I’m happy to see you too!” Craftycorn said, smiling.
But then Craftycorn realized something… That woman who Catnap had invited over…It was hard to describe, But Craftycorn could still feel her presence inside her. And it wasn’t happy…
“Uh…Catnap?”
“Huh? Yeah?”
“Is the lady you um…turned me into…is she ok?”
Catnap opened his mouth to speak, but then shut it. Truthfully he didn’t even know. He didn’t even know if HIS host was fine…
“…Well uh…I guess our next priority is trying to find a way to bring our host’s back-“
“Catnap!” Craftycorn cried out accusatorially, though it was still said in a way that implied she was holding back.
“I know! I know… I…I didn’t think this far ahead, I didn’t think about how our uh…hosts would feel…I just wanted to see you guys again…” Catnap looked down and nervously rubbed his arm as he spoke.
Craftycorn sighed and nodded. “I understand…but we need to figure something out…I miss everyone too…but I don’t wanna bring them back at the cost of someone else…”
Catnap seemingly opened his mouth to say something, only to yawn and fall asleep right on the floor.
Craftycorn sighed and facepalmed (facehooved?).
“Classic Catnap…” She mumbled to herself as she grabbed a blanket from the couch and slung it over him.---
