She seems to be wondering that herself. Like she's just completed a Journey of Discovery, found the place she was meant to be, found the person or MacGuffin she was meant to find and has no idea what to do now.

Sooo, I felt creative and decided to do the first two steps of the Snowflake method with her in mind, just to see where I ended up. This is the first draft I got.

Young tech solving murder mystery.

May, an aspiring tech aboard the "Majesty", faces a rather peculiar dilemma: It is her first day on the job, the ship has just left spacedock and her supervisor is dead. For reasons unknown, he stepped into an area, which had been depressurized for the duration of the flight, and now it is her task to pick up his duties. First step: Writing an accident report. While doing do, she notices inconsistencies. Tiny, little things that, on their own, seem harmless, but combined alert her, that this "death" was not an accident, but sabotage.Even worse: Whoever is responsible is still among the crew, as, not long after, another "accident" happens, then another. Soon, she herself becomes a target, as she cannot help herself, but investigate. Barely escaping with her life, she identifies the culprit as the captain of the ship, a rather untrustworthy individual with a connection to one of the shipowners rivals. After his arrest, everything seems fine - until May begins to have doubts, and she realizes, that she has been played. Everything, so far, has been a set-up by the ship's first mate, who has been hired to make sure the "Majestys" current mission is a failure. Unfortunately, before she can tell somebody, he goes after her life again and this time she perishes - at least that is what she thinks, until she is saved by the captain, who had become suspicious as well too and made his own plans to flush the culprit out. Together they stop the first mate and put an end to his plans, saving the "Majesty" and its inhabitants.
