Alright, grab a pen and paper and get ready to write down the recipe. (Trust me this is ten times better than the box Hamburger Helper)
Spices (Of course these are to your taste)
Ground mustard
Basil
Oregano
Parsley
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Salt & pepper
Ingredients
One diced onion
1 garlic glove minced
Cheddar Cheese (put some off to the side to place on top)
Tomato sauce (I used a 15oz canned)
1 pound of hamburger
1 box of large elbow macaroni
Chicken or beef broth (I used chicken)
2 cups of milk
Alright grab your favorite pot (I recommend a big pot), start filling it with water and broth (chicken or beef), place it on your stove allowing it to boil, and once it's boiling throw your macaroni in (sometimes I add butter to the water). While you're waiting forever for your macaroni to cook begin cooking your onion and garlic remove those into a bowl for now, and then start cooking your hamburger (don't put your spices in yet), once it's fully cook shut your heat off. Once your Hopefully, your macaroni is cooked by this time and should be ready for straining. Now, bring your macaroni back into the pot you were using, then drain your burger of any fat leftover, and finally dump it into your macaroni. Ready for the fun part? Okay, so once both the macaroni and burger are together pour in your tomato sauce, turn your heat on low, slowly pour your milk in, add your spices, and your cheese in slowly. Eventually, everything should come together, serve on your favorite plate, sprinkle a little more cheese on top and enjoy.
