A Peachy Costume | Gardevoir to Princess Peach TF
A request for a loyal customer on Deviantart!
For Sylvia the Gardevoir, Halloween was typically a pretty lonely night. Every year her trainer, Jackie, would go out to Halloween parties and leave Sylvia alone at home. Sylvia would’ve loved to join her, but Sylvia always said something along the lines of; “Sorry Sylvia, parties like this are for humans only.” And Sylvia never bothered to sneak out because Jackie would punish her by not giving her any poketreats for a week.
Though this year, things would be different!
Jackie tended not to leave Sylvia in her pokeball, only really doing so when the two had to go on long trips. As a result, Sylvia had a lot of freedom around the house and backyard, and over the past couple of weeks, she’d been making friends with a wild Zororark that had been around the forests beyond the backyard, and after talking to him about her troubles with being lonely on Halloween, he had told her that he could find a way for her to join Jackie in the party, and supposedly, tonight he was going to show her just what he was thinking of.
Using Psychic, she opened the door the backyard and stepped outside. Once she was out, she leaned up against the fence and waited on Zororark to show up.
Thankfully for Sylvia, it wouldn’t take long, and Zororark soon jumped over the fence, landing right in front of her.
“…’ello.” He greeted.
“Greetings.” Sylvia said back. “So, what’s your plan?”
Zororark cleared his throat. “Okay, so you know the move Skill Swap?”
Sylvia nodded in response.
“And you know how Zororarks can change their appearance with their ability, right?”
Sylvia smiled a bit as she realized where Zororark was going with this. He seemed to pick up on this, chuckling and nodding.
“Yeah, you get it, don’t’cha? Alrighty, no time to waste, let’s do this thing…”
Zororark got into a battling position, then held his claws out. As he did, two purple orbs began to materialize in front of him and Sylvia. After a couple of seconds, the orbs traded places and then went inside of each pokemon.
Sylvia’s head was immediately overcome with a strong feeling of haziness, and she almost fell over, but luckily Zororark caught her.
“It’ll pass, don’t worry. Just relax for a bit.” Zororark reassured Sylvia. She nodded weakly and did as she was instructed. She didn’t know how much time had passed before it happened, but she eventually found her strength returning, and she stood straight back up.
Zororark back away after that. “Alright, ya ready to learn how to illusion?” He asked.
Sylvia nodded excitedly in response.
Zororark cleared his throat again. “Alright, close your eyes and clear your mind. Let me know when you’ve done it.”
Being a psychic type, something like that came almost effortlessly to Sylvia. “Alright, what now?” She asked.
“Now that you’ve done that, try to get a clear picture in your head of who or what you want to become, then focus REALLY hard on it.”
…Crap. In all of her excitement to go to the Halloween party, Sylvia had neglected to choose a ‘costume’…she knew it was something humans typically did...
That then gave her an idea. She could put up the illusion of her being a human! But then…what costume would she wear?
After a few moments of thinking, an image came to her. A specific image of woman from a Video Game Jackie had played in the past…Sylvia fuzzily remembered the name…Princess Peach, was it?
Either way, Sylvia decided this would be a good disguise to use…and she began to concentrate with all her might on it.
In a few moments, Sylvias crest began to tingle, and it slowly but surely split up into thousands of pixelated particles. The particles swirled around Sylvia’s head, turning a bright blonde color as they did, and soon enough they would re-accumulate on Sylvia’s head, forming into a head of beautiful, long blonde hair.
Another crowd of particles began to circle around her neck. Sylvia could feel her skin tickling and tingling as the particles slowly floated upwards. Her stark-white, marble-like skin was being changed into a peachy (pun not intended color, as well as gaining a fleshy, but still smooth texture. Once the ring of particles arrived at her face, similar changes began to occur there. Although this time, some of the particles would latch onto the center of Sylvia’s face, then begin to pull a newly-formed nose outwards until it was a fully formed human nose. Lastly, the color of her eyes changed into a bright blue hue.
The crowd of particles then split up into two and went to each of her hands, beginning to make their way up Sylvia’s arms. Sylvia’s hands began to change in structure first, the fingers splitting up into four (not counting the thumbs) and began to lose their edge, smoothing out into an ovular shape. A few more particles accumulated onto the tips of Sylvia’s fingers, producing a thick keratin substance onto each of them that spread out over the tips a little bit, forming fingernails.
Once the particles were finished changing Sylvia’s arms, they began to restart their course, covering Sylvia’s arms in regal, white gloves. The cloud of particles then accumulated back into one cloud and surrounded Sylvia’s body, beginning to move downwards. As they did so, Sylvia’s ‘dress’ began to be turned into an actual dress. It sealed up completely, covering up her body in full, then began to shift colors into a cheerful pink. Around the hem of the dress, it became a deeper, magenta color.
Once the particles were done there, they moved up to the shoulders of the dress, spinning around them at a rapid velocity, resulting in puffy pauldrons sprouting up around the shoulders.
The particles did another once-over on Sylvia, adding any last embellishments, such as a sapphire broach on the chest of her dress, some sapphire earrings, and a golden crown. With that, Sylvia’s illusion was fully done, and she finally broke her concentration to check out how it turned out.
Zororark grinned widely at Sylvia as she examined herself. “Ya look great. Good job!” He cheered.
Sylvia smiled at Zororark. “Thank you so much! Ah, this is going to be great!” She said thankfully.
“Hope so! Better not waste much time though, it ain’t gonna last all night.” Zororark then turned towards the fence. “See ya ‘round!” He then hopped over it and ran back off into the forest.
Sylvia waved goodbye, then quickly ran off to where the party was. Man, this was going to be the best Halloween ever!---
