A vixen cares.
"Can I'll get up?"
"No." Replied Emily.
"Just for a moment."
"No." Answered Emily.
"I just wanted to make myself some tea." Said Mark.
"I'll make you some tea myself." Emily replied.
The man sighed and closed his eyes, feeling how his wife's cold nose touched his forehead, measuring the temperature.
"It's just a common cold, you don't have to worry about me so much - I'll be fine in a couple of days." Said Mark.
"I know." Emily answered quietly.
"Somebody told you that you are too overprotective?" Mark asked looking at Emily.
"Yes, many times." The woman answered, looking at him.
"So you don't mind if I get up?" Mark asked with a slight smile.
"No!" Emily said stubbornly, placing a hand on her husband's chest and holding him into bed.

These two gradually learn each other, learning more and more new things about each other. But Mark perfectly understands that he is incredibly lucky to find a woman in his life, who will help him and sincerely care about him.
They both speak very quietly and calmly. Just two people who love each other.
He doesn't want to feel weak and powerless, but he knows that his wife won't let him get out of bed.
She knows that she's overprotective of him and he's safe - but that's her nature.

The wonderful drawings and most of character desighn are kindly made for me by
sethtriggs For which I am very grateful for his help in portraying all this - because without his vision and pictures I would never have been able to tell this story. He really did a lot for me.
We still have "Tales of Chakona Discord for fans" - a cozy place where we usually gather. But after the recent ...flooding infestation, the rules were changed slightly. So ask around for an invite PM.
