The Milky Way from the Magellanic Cloud
This is a quick representation of the Milky Way seen from a hypothetical planet located in the Magellanic Clouds. It's the closest thing I've been able to conceive. I hope I am not too wrong regarding the size and appearance of the galaxy seen from the 167 thousand light years away that separate the Milky Way from the Magellanic cloud.

If we feed the calculator with 167 and 100, we obtain an angular size of 33°20'8". If we consider that the celestial vault measures 180°, the galaxy would occupy 18.33% of the sky. That is, approximately one fifth of the night sky. That is, it would have to be smaller than the drawing I made! (If the calculations are correct, of course)
