Ah! There they are! The third tapir from the sample page!
The woolified Baird's tapir looks even more outlandishly endearing
than the highland Andean kind! Very breezy and unusual!
A lovely wide-brimmed summer hat,
and those patches of brighter fur
along the wrists and ankles
are dizzyingly elegant!
Rayne tapirified reminds me of Paige Sinclair from BoJack Horseman โ
in looks and palette, at least, if not in personality.

"Not-well-adjusted-fursuit look" is the
๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฝ
way of describing them!
Baird's tapirs may look differently in terms of fuzziness based on their current mood,
and individual hairiness... and I bet they could get really fuzzy
if you vacuum or brush them for long enough!
There are so many animals that have some dude who discovered them
in their name! I think "Central American tapir" is lot more indicative,
but it's also a bit too dry. There needs to be a revision
of a lot of those names, to pick some cool new ones,
preferably based on the indigenous naming of them.
