Well after a bit of time, I've slowly am breaking out of a slump I've been in. Figured the best thing to do would be to clear out some stuff. First off just something a bit more silly. So I do apologize if it seems like my writing has dipped a bit since last time.
This was done last year by my good friend
Snowfyre who also owns Cyndie and Inari. Hope this was worth the wait

Anyway, enjoy this short story. Part 2 coming soon.
“Alright, this seems like a good spot to rest,” Mya exclaimed as she stretched, feeling her joints pop as she sighed. The sun shone down on her as she went over to a nearby bench. “You two… can do what you want. Just no fighting!” she warned, shooting a small glare at them.
“Well, if Cyndie stops doing something stupid, it would be alright,” Inari replied.
“I’m not stupid! I… oh I see a bike!” the Cinderace exclaimed, racing over towards it.
Mya and Inari watched her a bit, before the Inteleon pulled a book out of her bag. “Well, it should keep her entertained for a while,” she remarked, flipping over to the bookmarked page.
“Well, as said, just enjoy yourselves.”
A little while later, Cyndie came zooming down the path. She was still riding the bike she had found, to which Mya was grateful it was a park rental one, and holding a carrot.
“YAY CARROT!” she yelled out.
Mya just shook her head, not entirely sure where she got that. She was going to ask, but something caught her attention. Turning around, she saw Fen come over a nearby hill. “Hey girls, I’m going to go talk to Fen,” she said simply as she got up from the bench and made her way to the fennec.
Inari rolled her eyes as Cyndie continued to cheer out she got a carrot. Without looking up from her book, she shouted, “Cyndie! Ride your bike with both hands or you’ll crash and lose whatever few brain cells you got left!”
The Cinderace looked down at the bike, a tad confused. “Okey…. Where do I put the carrot” she replied slowly, not entirely sure where it should go. The only place that seemed to be anything close would be the holes in the front wheel. “Oh hey, it can be held here!”
As soon as the carrot entered the wheel, it snagged, and she let out a yelp. Cyndie was thrown to the side as the bike came to a crashing stop. Her foot snagged it. Almost on instinct, she used Blaze Kick. The metal frame of the bike was set ablaze as she landed on her back. Dazed, the Cinderace stared up at the sky, seeing something that made her even more happy.
“YAYY! MORE CARROTS!!!” she shouted, trying to grab at the imaginary vegetables that circled around in her vision.
With a frustrated sigh, Inari slammed her book closed. “MYA! Cyndie just lost her last few brain cells!! Can we get a prosthetic brain for her now?!”
“No!” was the reply, the collie not even turning around as she chatted with Fen. “Just fix up the mess and see if she needs medical attention!”
