So, a friend of mine recently got me into the webcomic Rain Burn. It's a great story with some very fun characters! Saida's easily my favorite, she's this slightly out-there sweetheart of a quetz (short for quetzalcoatl; yes, the winged serpent from Aztec mythology) princess, and relentlessly positive and friendly!

And technically, this isn't her.

Brand is a grouchy, pessimistic volcano dragon... and due to a majorly screwed up spell, the current occupant of Saida's body. He's a jerk with a heart of gold at absolute worst, and given how unbelievably lousy his luck tends to be, and how much the only friend he had until he met Saida drives him up the wall, his attitude is understandable. Sad thing is, when it comes down to it, all he wants is to be liked and respected... something he's had great trouble with.

Of course, that's nothing a certain snake can't fix~
