Very often while working the conventions I'll be somewhat concerned about reusing design elements when working up each person's individual character. It's my personal challenge to add something unique and appealing to each character so that they don't end up looking too similar to another character I'd previously drawn. This piece ended up being not so unique and original, but the whole thing just fell together very nicely and I was quite happy with the result.

The picture definitely stretches the definition of "sushi" however.
