Link is a character and the main protagonist in the Nintendo video game series The Legend of Zelda. Created by Shigeru Miyamoto. Link is a boy from the elf—like Hylian race from the fictional country of Hyrule. His age varies from playing the game — from a boy to a teenager and even a young man. He wears a green (in some games, blue) tunic and a long green cap, and also has pointed ears — a distinctive feature of the Hylian race. Link usually travels through the land of Hyrule, fighting various creatures, evil forces and his main antagonist of the series, Ganon, and tries to save Princess Zelda and the kingdom. To win, Link usually uses the magical Greatsword and Arrows of Light or other similar legendary weapons that he obtains during trials and battles. He also often uses found magical or ordinary objects (for example, musical instruments).
