Made a PS1 style 3D model of my character, first time ever trying something like this. I need to play around more to figure out posing but it's fully jointed with individual limbs, segmented jaw and tail. I've seen a lot of PS1 renders that oversimplified details, I wanted to give it a shot and make something a little closer to what I remember that era of games looking like. Somewhere between the late era titles in the Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Tekken or Syphon Filter series and something like Chrono Cross or Final Fantasy VIII--even took a little inspiration from the oft forgotten Warpath Jurassic Park game for certain details.
If anyone is interested in something like this let me know, don't have pricing worked out for commissions like this but this was fun as hell and I sure as shit need to pay bills! And if anyone knows how to rig this for VRChat or as a Vtuber model and wants to give me a tutorial let me know, having to teach myself this was fun but time consuming.
