tried half-highlighting with pen. I think it actually worked really well?? the ability to put further emphasis on lines is actually rather useful!

also messed with the muzzle shape to make it feel even more vulpine from this specific angle, also kind of a success!

Finally, gave the ears some volume to them, which is something i have done before, but am trying to cement it in my head.
