As the Valerie Lilac of another story comes to a close, we re-introduce the character in a new light. Specifically this is the Valerie Lilac of my Victorian Steampunk universe! I wanted to bring her back in the gritty style that I experimented with on Valariah some time ago.

Ms. Lilac's origins are much like her d&d character counterpart's. As a devoted officer of the Avalonian military, Valerie had helped many countries in their times of strife. She pushed back against the Republic's advances to Coasta Azul, and aided Kizmet in holding back continental warlords from bringing back chaos to the nation. All in the name of the Avalon Empire!

As her career pushed on, her worries grew for her hometown of New Leodin, the capital of Avalon. Valerie would receive letters from her father lamenting of crime infesting the streets, and people no longer feeling safe. After learning of her parent's bakery being robbed and her father being extorted for "protection money," it was time for Valerie to act. She retired from her military career and returned home, where she hopes to make New Leodin a safe place for her family and the working people again.
