Cal Grande is a vast oceanside city known for its great eats, large boardwalk, and even larger citizens. In this town competitive eating is their most popular sport, and gluttony is considered a staple rather than a sin. It's citizens are laid back and carefree.
Sure, there may be a ravenous ghost possessing folk to satiate her hunger, or a manic cockatrice trying to harvest organs; but at the end of the day, everyone ends up okay and ready to do it all again.
