this was inspired by an old picture i recently found of me with my friends from circa 2017.
thing is - i live a very different life in a very different place now and i'm no longer in contact with many people who used to be important to me and played a role in making me a person i've become. i think one of the most important things i've learned over the course of my life is accepting that some relationships, whether romantic or platonic, are simply not meant to last - and this isn't such a bad thing. sometimes you have to let go and appreciate it for what it once was. (this paragraph probably doesn't make sense.. im definitely better at drawing than writing)
