Story
Dardanos the skinny rabbit was no more. He had gained enormous amounts of strength and muscle mass and had endured several fights. He was a match for both strong carnivores and herbivores and even the fiercest wolf began to fear this rabbit. Dardanos had completely lost his flight reflex. He had traded speed and agility for weight and bulk.
The deer that had trained him had become his father figure. But he died of heart failure, a very rare death for a gladiator.
The crowd cheered when he fearlessly entered the arena with a fierce expression on his face.
His massively muscular body bore scars that he wore with pride.
The old ruler had died and his young grandson had inherited the throne because his father died due to illness.
The young ruler was fascinated by Dardanos the Blood Rabbit.
A great anniversary battle came and the winner may receive freedom, he may be free to become a citizen or return to his former homeland.
Dardanos had mixed feelings, the gladiator school and the arena had become so familiar to him and if he could return to his old home, what if he didn't feel comfortable there and he ended up dying of loneliness.
But the sheer will to survive took hold of him and he was ready to face the biggest and most dangerous opponents, kill or be killed.
The anniversary battle began and strong carnivores and strong herbivores fought to the death, a spectacle for the masses.
Dardanos fought a monitor lizard, a polecat, a fox, a horse, an eagle and a tiger.
In the end, only Dardanos and a rhinoceros remained.
The rhinoceros told Dardanos in the middle of the attack that he was nothing other than the strongest rabbit, while he could never surpass the overwhelming strength of a rhinoceros.
But Dardanos showed the rhino that although he was not bigger, he was brave and skilled. He jumped and rammed his sword into the rhino's neck and the rhino fell over.
All was quiet, but when Dardanos held up his sword and shield, the crowd cheered.
The young ruler praised him and acquitted him.
Dardanos decided to return to his old home and the crocodile trainer paid him respect when he said goodbye.
Dardanos left the empire, where he had to fight for life and death. The former Rabbit Gladiator was ready to travel home.
