A very daring and rare angle for a character,
especially for a leporid. It's fascinating,
the way they can rotate these
massive sound funnels
so deftly.
It shows significant artistic maturity
to be able to depict characters
who show purpose
and personality
with their faces
hidden from sight.

I think that after all the back muscle studies I've been doing, I kinda got in the mindset of drawing a lot of backviews ^^
The idea of the twisting ears is to show some level of awareness from the character, even though she is not looking at the viewer, she might still know the viewer is there or maybe something else is there =3

People backs are fascinating, because we hardly ever see ourselves from the back.
Thank you for elaborating on how the ear alignment connects
with the concept of the portrait! This implied awareness
is thoroughly felt in this picture, with the ears
keeping their "gaze" on the viewer.
