Description:
Jax was a junior athlete playing track-and-field games for his senior high school team in Visalia, California. However, he also wished to pursue his college studies further to become a police officer, like his older brother who graduated with flying colors. Besides being adept in running sports, he was also responsible for assisting his father and his grandfather in managing a local gym, where he often had struggles in lifting any gym equipment, let alone even a single barbell weight. This could also explain his often nervous display and posture, but it happened in most of the heavy works required in his daily gym duty, as he seemed fine running on a treadmill at full power or using a leg press.

One day, his father came across a few bodybuilder-like office friends, who used to be as lanky as the Hornstops remembers. Those office workers confirmed that they had just tried themselves in the MALAKAS Project, and it had done wonders to them. While the Hornstops were initially uninterested in that project, their office friends noted Jax's recently received back pain, suggesting that he should heal and then join the project. One of the office workers even offered to temporarily take Jax's place while the young rhino was away. Remembering one time about Jax's grandfather once suffering muscle spasms from freeing a newbie accidentally stuck in a gym equipment, Jax's father relented and allowed the young rhino to join the MALAKAS Project.

There was nothing much to say about his MALAKAS Project experience in the mountain base, but Jax had resided his initial nervousness with newly built confidence, as he went from a gym assistant into a year-long instructor, albeit mixed with a fighter shtick, using barbells as his main weapon, all noted by his assigned instructor Dimitri Vitrikov. However, it went past few months that the Hornstops began to worry about Jax not coming back, only to learn from their office friends that the latter forgot to bring up earlier about the instructorship provided by the project. Although annoyed with that revelation, the Hornstops were nevertheless pleased that Jax was becoming like a gym coach, though Jax's older brother felt amused with the said fighter shtick.
