These eerie structures appeared suddenly and without warning, looming over the valley's inhabitants, harboring lethal intent. They wrought great tragedy and devastation upon the people, gradually engulfing all that ventured too close, until even settlements were compelled to evacuate, lest they fall prey to the sinister horrors lurking within the strange black monoliths.
Accounts found amidst the scattered bones and discarded belongings detail how those who beheld the towers were consumed by an irresistible urge to approach and ascend them. They spoke of hearing whispers reminiscent of the trees' voices and feeling the grass teasing their senses, coaxing them nearer. It wasn't until thousands had vanished that the Slayer ventured into the valley of Muredon to investigate in person.
Guided by cryptic crows and ravens, the Slayer's pursuit led him to the city of Eidraspes, encircled by numerous such towers and eerily deserted. There, he uncovered the true culprit behind the chaos: the Vimelea, a Mind Flayer, intent on extending its influence to every corner of the Cradle, consuming the world by uniting the roots of her forests and trees.
In a harrowing battle that left his fur as pale as bone, the Slayer emerged victorious, achieving his Fifth Labor and avenging the fallen of Eidraspes.
