Original description: So... I recently heard that My Little Pony's 5th generation is in fact a continuity of the 4th, also known as Friendship Is Magic. Now I'm no brony, but the idea that you basically take the satisfying conclusion of G4, then genocide all the cast and their achievements for something you know will never live up to the original is downright insulting, so I made this as a sort of "my heart goes out to the fans" thingy.

Now, granted, there's a good bit of evidence to support the idea that G5 and G4 ARE in fact different worlds (I mean, Transformers never linked each generation into one big timeline), not to mention
Starlight Glimmer's blood sacrifice timelines and the fact that both generations use different animation styles, but still I can't believe that some stoner would intentionally come up with the idea of a
happy ending override timeskip despite the massive fandom G4 has. Making the entire cast of a KID'S SHOW canonically dead is just showing how scornful you are of the fans. Like, Rian Johnson or Paul Feig
levels of scornful.

Sadly, we live in a time where we can't even trust the 'canon' anymore. Look at Disney's Star Wars, that was SO badly recieved, especially the way they treated the classic heroes like Luke (seriously,
the man gets vanished off to Brazil out of nowhere.) or Han Solo that they had to straight up decanonize the WHOLE sequels trilogy as its own thing. Pathetic. So even if G5 is a continuing of G4, then
that crap would get decanonized like the Star Wars sequels too.

Sorry if this was a wee bit too ranty, but I continue to be blown away by the awfulness of modern entertainment, especially with movies and comics, but let's not go down that route.

Well, if you've read the description from a certain mosasaur234 request featuring Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry, you most definitely might've noticed how I mentioned that there was something that was REALLY hammering down on me in early 2022.

Well. The whole My Little Pony Generation 5 controversy WAS the thing that was on wrecking my mind. This was quite a huge undertaking with all the fonts and just trying to space everything out properly. And if you look closely on the bottom left where the old Tagger Team logo is, you miiiiiight just see a funny face.

Of course MLP G5 is no more kid friendly or ElsaGatey than Hazbin Hotel or any other edgy trash that tries to be for kids but only ends up looking like it came from Shadow the Hedgehog's low-functioning 'brain', but happily, I've since gotten over the severe depression that MLP G5 dealt to me back in 2022.

After all, alternate timelines and Starlight Glimmer (She's still an AWFUL Chaos-tainted loser for all I care) and such exist. So MLP G5's malicious true goal to attack the fans and the show itself fell flat on its face. And let's be honest here, the Ponies REALLY did have a rough and sad history. Ruin-fics, Creepypastas, ElsaGate, nice characters suddenly turning evil because Chaos Gods and Warhammer and Sonic fandom sabotage, and just being waaaay too similar to ugly old humans in terms of nature rather than a fantastical fun Yoshi-like race that we all expected. So I think the internet has kinda just laid the Pony race to rest nowadays, euthanized for the best.

Aaaaaaaafter all... With the rise of other people making their own Original Species without the stupid flaws that the Ponies had, such as my own species, the Mabs, there's bound to be many bigger and better replacements for the Lamenters of all Xenos species themselves, the Ponies of Equestria. And after all, MLP G5 definitely explains why my pink-haired party-loving Mab Peex of Street Soul is so similar to a certain Pony of the same personality type.

Reincarnation, anyone?
