Heftoon #44 - Beached Whale-Seal (2/3)
“We’ll be switching over to our field reporter, Holt, in just a moment - Holt?”
“Thanks, Janet. A heartwarming story out of Cape Seaslug today, where local residents united to push a beached whale back out to sea. It’s a miracle rescuers found him when they did. Now, the affectionately named “Wide Willie” can live out his days in the waves where he belongs, feasting on krill and other marine life. This just goes to show that people can do anything when united, even move mountains. Back to you Janet.”
(Also, an appearance of a thin Holt? How uncanny! Who even knew that such a thing existed… and, that such a creature would work for Channel Thin News! Something seems fishy about this… but, back to the fishy business at hand!)

A silly old idea I had lying around in my Heftoons that I finally sat down to ink. While cases of mistaken identity like this can be inconvenient, our porcine seal friend could’ve avoided all of it by either, A. being careful where he sunbathes, or B. dropping a couple hundred pounds! But, with all the potential krill in his future, I only see this whale widening in the future…
