So... yes and no! The Vermillion and its creatures- including the remnants here- often replicate digital effects, and how some machines work, due to imperfect mimicry. Its why they have the glitch effects on the projected parts! So while the "screen" looks like a screen, its...
I now realize this is basically a form of biomechanical. So uh yes, to a degree! Its basically the Remnant giving the rundown to the wearer.
A fun tidbit is that as each of the symbiotes were once full people, their idea of that screen could be different. If a Remnant was a pre-colonization Hebiri, the screen may be simple Hebiri written runes appear on a flat surface, while an ex-colonist as a Remnant may have their interior screen appear much more like a computer interface, complete with windows and all the bits of an OS. Its all about how they would relay information visually.
