CHAPTER 06

As Chakastra moved towards the horizon, Natany calmly disembarked from the train that transported her to the spaceport. After taking a deep breath to fill Renzar's ample lungs, she slowly headed towards building 115, with the idea of ​​surprising the elusive Rakshani she considered her friend. She had called him in the morning at her PADD to say hello, but Gerak didn't answer. She assumed he was busy and didn't want to insist. Now, as the workday was nearing its end, she decided to contact him again. She stopped in front of the building to initiate the call. But once again, there was silence.
“It's strange. Why don't you answer, Gerak?” the police officer thought with concern. At that moment, a couple of Chakat, holding hands, left the building and approached her.
“Natany! What a joy to see you! How are you?”
“Lorna! Rockshie! How nice to see you too.” She responded cordially, greeting them with a hug.
“I am better! What happened still affects me, but I am recovering. Thank you for asking," said Natany.
“Awww, I'm so sorry about Shir Tagle. I understand. I was also a victim of that bastard. But, I must say that I was lucky” said Rockshie, taking Natany's hands.
“Thank you. I came for Gerak. Have you seen him today, Lorna?”
"Hmmm, that grumpy cat didn't come to work," the chakat replied.
“He did not come? He is sick?”
“I do not think so. Our boss Serenity said he asked for the day off. The truth is Gerak is quite reserved with his private life. Jhonny and I assumed he was with you, Natany,” Lorna added, winking mischievously.
“Heh heh... Well, that remains to be seen. I think we're both taking things slow. Especially me. But I must say that the Rakshanis have their... charm” she replied blushing.
"Heh heh heh," Lorna laughed knowingly.
“Oh, well... It's a shame he's not here. I wanted to surprise him," said the renzar.
“Awww that's so nice of you Natany. Rockshie also comes to pick me up from work often. True love?” Said the chakat engineer while shi purred on the neck of hir denmate.
"Prrrr... That's true," the lifeguard responded, hugging hym and nibbling on hir ear.
"You two make a lovely couple, let me congratulate you," Renzar said with a smile.
“And you and Gerak too! You two are so big and strong. I am happy for you.” Lorna added, closing one eye.
“Well, since Gerak is not here, I better leave.
“Then let's return to the city together, Natany. “It will be nice to keep you company,” Lorna proposed, taking her hand.
“Yes, Natasha. "I will always be very grateful to you for helping me when you and your police colleague found me injured that time," Rockshie added with a smile, taking her other hand.
The renzar felt a warm and comforting energy from being with the two chakats. Her heart found some relief after the anguish that the departure of her colleague Tagle still caused her. The three walked together towards the train station, while Chakastra slowly disappeared behind the mountainous horizon.

The next morning, Esteban woke up with his head lying between Doren's soft breasts. The skunktaur had slept cuddling with him all night, giving him tender licks on the face from time to time. Lilethe, for hys part, had already showered and was preparing to go to work. Seeing the human awake, hy asked using telepathy.
“Everything is fine love?
“ Y... Yes... Doren didn't let go of me all night. Since yesterday I notice hy is more affectionate with me.
“Affectionate? I would say that Doren has learned to love and appreciate you more than you know. You should feel lucky to have two beautiful skunktaurs with you. “ Lilethe said winking at him.
“I know sweetheart. I've always felt lucky about that." Esteban responded with a smile. As Lilethe finished putting on hys nurse's uniform, hy declared:
“I'm late. I will go with Regthar to work and have breakfast on the way. Keep enjoying your vacation honey. Rest well."
“Mmm… You are so sexy in that uniform. That's how I saw you for the first time, do you remember? Although I think the one you wore at the airport that time had a wider neckline, heh heh. “ Said the engineer looking at Lilethe from head to toe.
“Yes, how can I forget, it was also the first time I saw Regthar. I'll make a lower”cut outfit then.

“Yes honey, I'm late. Take care of yourselves both. See you in the afternoon. “Hy responded, while hy said goodbye to hys two loves with a warm kiss on the lips.
"Have a good day, darling," said Esteban, before Lilethe left the room. Doren, still lying on the bed next to him, looked at him tenderly as hy snuggled him close.
“And well, once again we have the room just for us, Esteban. What do you want to do this time my love? Shall we play for a while or would you prefer me to prepare breakfast?
“Don't you have to go to the Lorel´s bar?
“No. My shift is in the afternoon today. Besides, Hajo must be sleeping and Sorah must be resting in her room. So, we have plenty of time.
"Heh heh heh... Very good," said Esteban with a mischievous smile. "First of all, are you going to tell me what happened yesterday at the bar with that man?"
“Uh? Well, I just hung him from a post because he tried to get in on me.
“What! But Doren... Why you didn't say it at that time!” Esteban exclaimed, frowning, "No one goes too far with you when I'm around!"

“ Awww… Esteban! Would you seriously fight another man over me? “ Doren responded moved.
“Of course! You are my denmate!”

A surprised expression appeared on Doren's face.
“Did you say denmate?” Hy added blushing.
“Eh... well... yes... Of course, if you accept me. “ The boy responded, looking down timidly. The skunktaur began to wag hys tail vigorously, as hys heart swelled with excitement.
“Oh Esteban! My Esteban!” Hy exclaimed, throwing hymself on the human, covering him with licks and cuddles. “Of course I accept! You know I love you very much!”
Esteban chuckled, looking at Doren naked above him.
“Glad to hear it. Me too, heh heh heh heh…”
“Mmm... I'm so happy, Esteban...”
Suddenly, the skunktaur stopped her licking attacks and raised her face with a questioning look.
“Hmmm... Now that I think about it, my love, I don't think it would be such a good idea for you to fight for me. No offense, but in your history of fights, you have not come out well in any of them, H1, Brend, Faise...
“Uh? Doren! Thanks for the confidence! “ The human snapped, crossing his arms.
“Bah! It doesn't matter! It's the thought that counts... Prrrr... Heh heh, anyway, you're my hero!” Doren added with a playful giggle, and then resumed the kisses and caresses on the boy's face.

Upon arriving at work at the doctor's office, Lilethe greeted some Chakat colleagues who were going out to visit their respective patients.

“Have a good day, Lilethe, Tail high!” exclaimed one of them.
“You too, Tail high!“ the skunktaur responded politely. Upon entering the building, hy noticed that there was someone new at the reception desk. It was a large polar bear with white fur dressed in an elegant blue dress. When hy approached her to greet her, Lilethe was speechless with shock. Upon seeing hym, the polar bear exclaimed:
“Hello! You are Lilethe, right? Heh heh heh… Excuse me, you look cute in your nurse uniform.
“Hey you? Here? “ The skunktaur asked in surprise.
“Yeah! I am the new receptionist at the medical center. We will be co”workers! Heh heh...” Said the polar bear, lifting Lilethe up with a tight hug. At that moment, Sachi, Lilethe's fellow nurse, appeared from a side hallway.
“Hello Lilethe! Welcome! I see you two already greeted each other! Relia will be the new receptionist starting today” Renzar said with a smile. However, Lilethe, with a frown, pointed out:
“Sachi, can we talk in private? “
“Yes... Yes... sure, let's go to my office” Renzar offered, disconcerted by his colleague's serious attitude. Relia, noticing him, asked in a low voice.
“Did I do something wrong Miss Sachi?”
“Not Relia. You stay calm. Everything will be fine," Renzar responded and then left behind Lilethe.

Meanwhile, at the Renzar house, Esteban and Doren continued relaxing in bed together. Lying facing each other, they mutually enjoyed their nakedness and the softness of their mutual contact.
“So you used your telekinesis on that guy. Oh. You and Ugkar were to be feared," commented Esteban.
“Do not remind me that. It is a stage of my life that I want to forget… Doren responded with hys gaze on the ceiling. Then hy added:
“You Know? I apologized with my heart. I really regretted what Ugkar and I did to him. I was honest with him, just as I was with you when I regretted what happened between us in Berdoovia. But he didn't want to listen to me. He asked me for compensation. I was so heartbroken for him that I considered giving it to him. But then I thought about you and felt like it wasn't fair.”
“Doren. Tell me something. Isn't the fact that you accepted me as a denmate due to some kind of compensation for what you and Ugkar did to us in Berdoovia?” Esteban suddenly asked. Doren, surprised by the question, exclaimed:
“Esteban! Do you think I'm compensating you? Grrr… How can you think that! I thought you knew me... So that it is well engraved in your big head, listen to what I am going to say: I am with you and Lilethe because I love them both, not because I feel guilty for having hurt them in Berdoovia. I knew Lilethe long before you and I have always loved hym. I also loved Ugkar a lot, despite all the stupid things hy did. And I loved hym so much that it hurt me to see Vika”B leave with that rakshani.” Doren said getting out of bed and crossing hys arms.
“Okay, okay! Forgive me Doren... It's still hard for me to believe that I... am someone attractive to you... “ Esteban said, hiding his gaze.
“Hmmm... And I find it hard to believe that you still doubt it, you fool! “ The skunktaur responded, visibly upset.
"No... Doren, listen... It's not you... It's me and my insecurities... It's just... I don't know... I still feel like I don't deserve all the love you two give me," Esteban responded, trying to justify himself. Doren felt for a moment that hy would be unable to control hys anger. Hy clenched hys fists and clenched hys teeth as hys breathing hitched. At that moment, Sorah peeked out of the bedroom door, greeting with her usual motherly tone.
“Good morning, children! I hope you slept well.”
“Good morning mom Sorah. Could you tell this idiot how much we love him in this house?” The skunktaur responded in a hurry.
“Uh? ¿Doren... What’s wrong little one?” Asked the renzar.
“Ask him… Grrr… I'll go… I'll go prepare breakfast. Excuse me” the brown”furred skunk added and then left the room with hys feathered tail held high.
“Doren! Wait! Please don't be angry," Esteban begged, but the skunktaur was no longer listening to him.
"I'm sorry little one," Sorah said, approaching him.
“I haven't lost the habit of screwing up, have I, Mama Bear?” The human sighed.
“Hmmm... I guess, if you didn't do it, it wouldn't be you, heh heh heh...”
“Mom!”
“Sorry Sorry. Esteban, don't take things so seriously. Tell me something, do you love Doren?”
“With all my heart!”
“Then there's nothing to worry about. Because that is the most important thing. Doren has a strong character and I'm sure hy loves you as much as you love hym” Sorah said, looking at him tenderly. Then she added:
“I'll go out to Triny's house for a while and then we'll go to the supermarket. I'll take Hajo with me. Do you want me to bring you something, darling?”
“No Sorah. Thank you.”
“Oh, Natany called this morning. She asked when you were going to see Brend in prison.” Added the female. The boy, thoughtful, responded.
“Soon. But first, I need to think. I think I'll go visit Vroeg in the afternoon.”
"Awww, that's very nice of you," Sorah sighed. Then she added:
“Son, are you sure you want to help Brend?”
Esteban, sighing, responded.
“I don't know mom. Oh by Grom, how I wish I had more certainties than doubts in my life!”

Sorah, taking pity on him, stroked his hair with her large renzar hand and declared.
“Whatever you do, I will support you, son.”
Esteban, moved, got out of bed and fell into his mother's soft and tender arms.
“Thank you! Mama bear” he whispered.
