My new baby.
Noodle needed a companion, so we went to a local ferret rescue last week and got this guy. He's 2-3, and absolutely huge!
He was castrated about two weeks ago, and is going to the vet tomorrow for his microchip.
He's lovely, loves sleeping on my lap, is a total mummy's boy and gets on great with Noodle.

There are so many in rescue, it seemed silly not to. Plus, I wanted an older one, as Noodle is already 2 so I needed one of a similar age so they would grow old together, otherwise I'd be left with one on its own when the other passed away.
But yes, I definately reccomend rescue for most pet species ;)

Yeah, ferrets would kill rats straight away, its what they're bred for (that and for killing rabbits, I think it tends to be more rabbits these days) Ad Quagmire has been worked, so I don't trust him or the other one around the rats.
Though he has seen them through the cage bars and not been at all bothered, I still wouldn't trust him!
