Dinosaucers was the victim of circumstances unrelated to the quality of the show itself. It was one of the shows produced by Coca-Cola during that brief period when the company owned Columbia Pictures. It was the massive failure of ISHTAR which caused Coke to pull it's mass media support and retreat to just making soft drinks. That left stuff like Dinosaucers without a home, so to speak.
It says something about the potential of the series that a full 65 episodes were produced. Most shows similarly abruptly cancelled only boast 13 episodes (the standard minimum for the first production package of an animated series, with the option to order more episodes if the first block proves successful).

In a weird way, those 'orphaned' series of the time did better than others. When the writers and artists learned that they weren't getting a second season they often went all-out with some wild ideas. Like giving the show an actual for-ever finish with the villains defeated, or just plain messing around with ideas that they wouldn't have dared. It made many of them memorable.
I remember it, but maybe not for the right reasons. There was a character called Jammit, and I recall another character screaming to Jammit during a chase sequence "Hustle, Jammit, hustle!" This set up a gag where he stopped and began disco dancing, but what made it stand out was that Jammit didn't SOUND like "Jammit" when the line was spoken...
Of note, I didn't catch the name of the show, and only figured it out a few days later when I saw a Happy Meal commercial which included promotion of the show!
