Yeah, I agree. She's the villain-turned-nice guy... err, nice pony, from the first two episodes, but after that, not hide or hair of her since. The heck, man?!
There should be an arc in season two involving the revamped version of the witches from the one movie where they summon the spooz... err, smooz... whatever it was called. That'd be kinda awesome, right?

Although I feel sorry for Luna, she is a perfect example of what happens to those who oppose our glorious leader, Princess Celestia. It was the grace and eternal kindness of our goddesslike Princess that the infidel Luna was placed into our effective reeducation facility and not sent to the gem mines like other traitors to the crown. Our luminescent princess will continue to seek those who wish to wrongfully steal the crown, and woe to those who aid these traitors! All will pledge your allegiance and hearts to the rightful leader of the golden age of Equestria!
