Another quick small drawing of my D&D character, Malras, a dragonborn life domain cleric of Bahamut. He's quite bookish, often to a fault. Some days, a good book is more alluring than a rugged road or a confrontation off the coast of Saltmarsh.

This is a tiny sketch in my new traveling 5.5" x 5.5" sketchbook. I was told to check out thick 300gsm watercolor paper, so this one was cheap enough. Unfortunately, it's a lot harder to work with the grainy texture than I initially thought...cold-press paper and I just don't really get along. My poor, crappy eyes tried to pencil in some details, but it's too much of a challenge. I tried to improve my grass and trees, but both need some work.

Oh well, if nothing else, it's good experimentation.
