Tha comp I'm using is like anceint history o.o; but funny thing is, back in it's day it was high-end tech and cost my grandpa a arm, a leg, and another leg XD
As you can see it's Win98, not tha best now of course *kicks Vista and XP* but it still works though pretty much slow until I get my notebook back. I need a new HD for it since tha arm some how MELTED onto and scatched the disk badly. Even when I put tha disk into another HD system shell it read 'No OS found' so I'm pretty much SOL until I get a new HD.
Also, I'm cursed to use that damned Vista >.< since Microsoft not gonna support anything under Vista Home Basic, starting beginning of next year, meaning, no more new updates or fixes for problems, I'm forced to use Vista >/ so I'mma really be broke afterwards... *sigh*

You can put XP on you just have to do a format like anyone else and install the XP. I've done it loads of times. Also if you installed XP before Vista. I know of a way to go back to XP without having to format and it works well. I like Vista for some of its features, the only downfalls are lack of compatibility with software and the eatting of RAM.
I'm running Dual OS currently. Windows XP, and Vista Ultimate. *drools profusely* Anyway. And I'm having no problem at all.
I'm using VU for anything DirectX 10 compatible. And for anything else, I'm using XP. Oh, and the support issues.
There will be none. XP will keep being supported for a good 5 years or so. Not many businesses are upgrading to it. It takes time and resources to train employees to use the program, not to mention computer upgrades, or OS upgrades if the computer tests out for running Vista. So we're going to be good. Microsoft won't kill XP support, otherwise they lose out to Linux, hehe. Fun times.

You can also install XP right now cause it will still be supported for a while. They won't support Windows 2000 and Windows XP with Service Pack 1 cause its SP1. XP with SP2 is supported still and anyways there isn't much else you can do with XP its been upgraded and is a pretty solid OS with all its upgrades now the rest of them are just windows defender updates etc and stuff people never use half the time.
dude, this comp came out in 1992 or 94, not sure but its OLD and rusty lol, its only got 32MB of RAM and a 4GB HD but back in tha day that was top-notch shit. nowadays there MP3 phones that have way more than 4GB lol so unless i upgrade, aint nothin else goin on here besides Win95, older Linux, etc unless I somehow load XP to a disk and work it on tha comp that way but it takes too long and I dunthink it would work anway due to tha age of this MotherB
