Cute..but they're seriously evil at the university.. they attack people and have mauled some students pretty bad. They stalk people..and nearly took a girls eye once...<.<

the park ones are fine... o.o just something about the university..

It's probably a similar problem to the squirrels we have at my university - they feed off random trash and lose any wariness they had of people over time.
Not that I've ever known a goose to be SHY ... but I suppose the only way they could be more bold is to actively bully people. o_O;

Hope the rescue does him good, I don't particularly like geese but I'd never wish any active harm on one. :X Can't say I'd be as brave as you to pick him up and take him home.

Geese are awesome! I meet them almost daily and can interact with these intelligent noble and very social creatures, also with their extremely cute offspring (it's Spring at the moment, yay)! Greylag geese, canada geese and egyptian geese rule! =)

Oh yeah you're right! :D Just yesterday, a whole family of egyptian geese (5 kids, 2 parents) and 3 Greylags (1 gosling, 2 parents) followed me, like Raptors in Jurassic Park. :D Geese are indeed modern raptors with beaks! *thumbsup* :)

Definitely! Those feet are VERY MUCH like dinosaur feet. Have you ever seen an Emu?! I have never seen something closer to a dinosaur foot!!
