Crimson is in a Kirin Tribe, the same tribe as Azzura Depths.

Crimson is the tribe's potions maker and does whatever she can to allow the tribe to have easy access to potions and medical care.
Her resources coming from both homemade recipes and visits to Zecora in the Everfree Forest.
She will also make slightly longer treks to Ponyville, buying flowers and other nice plants from Daisy, Sunshine Petals, RoseLuck, and Lily Valley.

Using these flowers to give each potion a floral scent, making them easier to swallow.
When she isn't making potions, she's either helping out around the tribe, keeping the town looking clean and tidy,
or patching up Azzura from her treks into the Everfree Forest to gather resources.
As Azzura goes into the more hostile sections of the forest, to find resources that arent as easy for normal-sized Kirins to get their hooves on.

She cares very deeply about Azzura, and their bond is stronger than ever.
