Shiny and Rob - Two Pokédudes at the City Park 🏙🏞
Spending a nice day downtown 🎶

RobTheCamerupt on Camerupt Day ( Pokédex number 323 as like March 23rd)
Another lovely day at Triepeaks at which Shiny is having a great time of his urban life with some friendly company. Never being tired of cheerful greetings, his big Camerupt dude Rob can but just so catch Shiny as he practically leaps into his arms like it is nothing for the lightfooted Totodile.
"He-hey, Shiny. Nice to see you. You look excited again. Anything special going on?" Rob wonders at the tailwagging bundle of energy in his arms. "Oh, Rob! You know hanging out and enjoying such a nice day is pretty much all I need to feel bouncy, tehehe." Shiny winks in a jolly fashion while adding. "Plus, you know me. I totodily 'lava' you lots and am happy to see you smile."
The friendly big Volcano Pokémon cannot but chuckle bemused about Shiny's little puns as he receives a jolly hug from his Totodude.
Whether that day of them leads them just to some relaxing walks in the local park, to visit any other places in the city or other of their favorite places, they surely will have a nice time together. 🐊🐫
Been a while that I colored one of my doodles but was happy to hear from Rob that he enjoyed the motif I did. He also complimented me on the background which I am quite flattered by as I don't feel like I am particularly great with. Simply wanted to create a cute photo of Shiny welcoming his big dude. The skyscraper background was quite an interesting challenge for me. I think I watched a few images of city skylines in cartoons here and there and then just started to make building shapes. Hope it does look somewhat convincing.
Of course the main aspects that I hope to have gotten all correctly were the details of Rob's bipedal/anthro Cameruptform. Things like that the fluff around the hands , the stones around the Volcanohumps or the stripes all have teh right number and shapes were important to me.
I know, Rob loves toony scenarios a lot though I fear my abilities aren't all that great in that department (hope you can forgive me that there isn't an Volcano eruption in this one, hehe). Having friendly interactions like hugs and cuddles or casual fun are always a wholesome thing for me and I'm glad I at least can do some of them okay. I sure also never get tired of the adorable size difference between the short Shiny and his bigger dudes like Rob in this case. It's cute and I like cute. =D
Hope you also enjoy and if you want to hug a Camerupt I'm sure Shiny will let you have a turn whenever you ask. Of course everybody is free to pick up Shiny for hugs, too. 💕

Ah, thanks for the praise, Case. I think it's pretty basic but I like to be thurough and make sure it's all properly colored in. Sometimes I like to touch up graphics and add digital coloring to sketches just so that they can have that additionally. It's fun.
And yes, I sure find that neat of a character dynamic. Small characters interacting with big ones definitely comes with benefits. The bigger characters have a teddy-sized pal to hold and hug while the smaller guys got a big buddy to hold onto and feel happily protected.
