Kole was the illegitimate child of Alba and Leon. Alba, Believing herself to be ill-suited to become a parent gave up her newborn son up for adoption hoping for him to have a better life than she could provide. Kole was adopted by a privileged household but his foster parents, although they feed him and kept a roof over his head, they never cared much for him. While they were never physically abusive towards him, they ignored his needs for attention and affection, and are unwilling to even recognize his accomplishments in school. In High School during his Freshman Year he signed for Amateur Wrestling where he bonded with the school's coach who acted encouraging towards Kole recognizing his talent and potential, becoming somewhat of a father figure to him. Over the years he would become one the schools best wrestlers and his coach's star pupil. For a time Kole found himself happy, having found his calling in life, sadly it would not last.
As senior year came and went for Kole, he was considering enrolling in college to pursue a career in wrestling however his academic performance was somewhat lackluster. He had grades good enough to graduate but not nearly enough to earn a scholarship. Making matters worse his foster parents attended his graduation ceremony not to congratulate him but to let him know that they are kicking him out of the house since he was 18 and finished high school, they did not feel the need to keep him around anymore. Devastated by the news, Kole begged his foster parents to reconsider as he would have nowhere else to go, but his pleas fell on deaf ears and he was kicked out the house, left to fend for himself. Seeing no other options he turned to his high school coach seeing him as the only person left he could approach. Upon hearing his situation Kole's coach decided to take him in to help him find a college to pursue his career in wrestling and even offered to pay his tuition. Kole's life seemed to be turning out for the better, until tragedy struck. His coach was involved in a car accident with another driver under the influence killing both of them as well as Kole's hopes for getting into college.
Having lost the only father figure in his life, Kole was once again on his own with no job or place to live wandering the city streets. Eventually, he came across a shady individual who recognized Kole as his school's top wrestler and gave him an offer he couldn't refuse. He had connections to an illegal underground fighting ring and offered to provide him housing and a 10% cut of the profits. Although Kole was not fond of the idea of participating in these fights he felt he had no other options, so he agreed. Sure enough over the next several years, Kole's talent in wrestling came in handy and it earned him a decent pay grade and a roof over his head once again, although he would feel guilty about his current life path and believed that like with his foster parents and coach it would not last and sure enough he would end up being right.
One day, Police busted the fighting ring and everyone involved including Kole. With a criminal record and his only source of income now gone Kole wallowed in despair as he sat in his cell, unaware of what his options are now. He believed his life was now over until he met Alicia, a stripper who was arrested for sucker punching a patron who was harassing her who turned out to be a lawyer with enough pull to paint her as the aggressor. She noticed him sulking, as she was escorted to his cell in handcuffs. While she was waiting for her mother, Ariana or Carmila to pay her bail she was curious about Kole and asked if he is also waiting for bail he dismissively answered "No". Alicia wanting to pass the time asked him about his story and how he end up locked in here. Kole, although unsure if he should share his problems to a complete stranger decided to tell his new cellmate about the story of his life acknowledging that he REALLY needed someone to talk to so he gave Alicia the full story, from his foster parents to the time in the fighting ring. To Kole’s surprise, Alicia was saddened and horrified upon hearing Kole's story and everything he went though, as she began to hug him, one of the guards banged on the cell door informing Alicia that Carmila has paid her bail and was free to go, although Kole felt happy to share his story to someone who cares he was saddened to see her go so soon and return to wallow in his loneliness, however what happened next would unexpectedly change his life forever. The guard from before called for Kole letting him know that his bail was paid, but by who? As Kole gathered what few possessions he had from the station’s lobby, he was greeted by two individuals, one of them being Alicia, who told him that they were the ones who paid for his bail. They offered to let him live at their place with their families, Kole taken aback by Alicia and Carmila's gesture of kindness asks if they're alright letting him live with them? Carmila assures him that Alicia told her everything the he told her and understood his situation and she insists that he come live with them. After thinking on it for a bit, Kole accepts their offer to which Alicia responds by giving Kole a bear hug which immediately shocks him as he's was not use to physical affection, especially not from a girl. At Alicia's home, Kole was introduced to Carmila's daughter; Cammie, Alicia's mother; Ariana, and her brother; Link who was excited to finally be sharing the house with another guy. They all quickly warmed up to him and treat him as one of the family. For the first time in his life: Kole finally has somewhere he could call home.
A year has passed since then; Alicia and Kole started dating and eventually moved out to live in a small apartment of their own. While Kole was happy to finally regain control of life he was starting to be overwhelmed by the thought of knowing who his real parents are and why they gave him away, a thought that did not escape Alicia's notice. When Kole told her about this she offered to help him find his birth parents. Although, he worries about what he may find and the possibility that his real parents might be worse than his foster parents, she assures him saying she'll be there to support him no matter how things turn out. With Alicia's word of encouragement Kole visited a local clinic to get his DNA tested. Sure enough the results came back revealing that his birth parents are a couple of Foxes in their 40s named Leon, a musician and Alba, an amateur ex-pornstar and Leon's sister-in-law. Alicia was quite surprised by the results because she knew both of them, Leon in particular as she used to date his daughter, Maxine and had a few flings with his son, Leo. But she knew little about Alba other than she was rumored to have done questionable things particularly rumored in having a (not-so) secret relationship with Leo (although she wouldn't tell him that, especially without proof). Regardless, knowing who Kole's birth parents are she leads him to the address where Leon's family is living.
Arriving at their destination Kole and Alicia dressed up to look presentable as they prepare to give Leon the news. Kole rings the doorbell with his DNA results in one arm and Alicia in the other. Before long they are greeted by Andra, Leon's wife who casually asks Alicia if the handsome young man with her is her new boyfriend and wanted to introduce him. Before she could say anything, Kole speaks up introducing himself to Andra and nervously asks if Leon was home as he tighten his grip on Alicia for comfort. Andra was perplexed by this sudden request, until she noticed that the item in his hand was in fact a file that contained the results of a DNA test from a nearby clinic. Upon realizing who Kole is and what he is here for she immediately brought them inside and to the living room asking them to wait as she left to get her husband. A minute later Andra returns to the living room with Leon in tow confused as to what was going on and why Andra wanted him to meet this lad. Before Leon could delve into it any further, Kole stood up spoke to him, barely able to keep his anxiety in check, "L-Leon? H-hello, M-my name is Kole. I-I'm your son". Leon, immediately looked at the man incredulously. But upon closer inspect of his face and seeing the DNA file on the coffee table in front of him, he realized what he was saying was true: Kole, the young man in front of him is indeed his son and he never knew about him until now. As Leon was reeling from shock at this revelation, Alba walks in cigarette in hand casually asking what the commotion was about. Kole, recognizing the person who just walked in being Alba, his mother addressed her like he did Leon trying to better compose himself to her "M-Mom? It's me, I'm your son". Alba couldn't help but chuckle as she was getting ready to light up her cigarette "That's a good one kid but I don't have a-" she paused immediately when an old memory of her’s suddenly resurfaced. The baby she gave away all those years ago, it can't be, this is him? Upon looking directly into his eyes the realization hit her like truck: she dropped her lighter and unlit cigarette as she stood there frozen in place unable to respond to the man who she realized was the child she left long ago. Leon and Andra turn their heads at her glaring expecting her to explain herself. The awkward silence was broken when Leon spoke in a somber tone, "W-why?" followed by "Why didn't you tell me?" Leon faces her, demanding an answer as tears welled up in his eyes, "Why didn't you tell me we had a son?" Alba stood there like a deer in headlights unable to give him an answer, of course what could she say? That she didn't want to complicate thing between him and her sister Andra, that she didn't want to to burden him with the news of an illegitimate child from their fling. As she fumbled her words in her head, Leon spoke up once again, this time with audible anger "I would have taken him, why didn't you tell me?" As she looks directly at the father of her son, tears streaming down his face, she looked away in shame still unable to respond. Leon speaks up repeating himself yet again, "I would have taken him". Alba, overwhelmed by guilt speaks up trying to ease the rising tension of the situation, but all she could say was, "Well, he's here now". Of course this dismissive answer only caused Leon to snap and in a rage he lunges at Alba only to be stopped Kole and Andra, and immediately broke down sobbing in his son's arms. As Kole tried to comfort his father, Alicia suggests that she, Andra, and Alba leave them alone and let them try catching up with each other to which Andra agrees, as the three leave for her and Kole's apartment to have a little "chat" with Alba about her decisions. As Leon finally started to calm down he looks his son directly in the eye and asks him to tell him everything that happened leading up to this reunion, sure enough he did just that. About an hour had passed, After hearing Kole's story Leon was in awe, he embraced his son acknowledging that he went through so much, apologizing profusely for not being there for him. Kole hugged him back assuring his father than he had nothing to apologize for, that he was happy to know his real father actually cared. What felt like hours had passed and Kole was ready to leave saying goodbye to his father, but not before he made one last request for him: he wants Leon, to forgive Alba, saying he knows she's not a bad person and only did what she thought was best for him at the time, saying he already forgave her and he should too. Leon dejectedly sighed at the proposition, but for his son's sake, he promised to forgive Alba and that he just needs time to think about everything, to which Kole respects and bids him farewell, looking forward to knowing him and the family more in the future.
Back at his apartment, Alicia and Andra were already at the front door waiting for Kole, letting him know that Alba is inside waiting for him. He thanks them for letting him know and asks that they leave him alone to finally speak with his mother, surely they did saying they'll wait outside until he and Alba are finished. Inside he sees Alba huddled up on the couch sobbing after probably having received the biggest dressing down of her life from her sister and Alicia. Kole slowly approaches her asking her if she's alright. Alba looked up at her son with he face smudged in snot and tears responded in a resigned tone "You hate me don't you? I'm such a terrible mother, I don't blame you." as she sunk her head back down to resume crying Kole put his hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her saying he doesn't hate her, but she snaps back at him "Lies! Ali told me everything, it was all my fault, what kind of mother am I!?" Kole responds by assuredly hugging her saying that while they cannot change what she did or what happened to him, he lets her know that he's happy to know that she still cares about him acknowledging that she tried to give him a better life even though it didn’t turn out the way they had hoped, everything worked out for him in the end especially since now he finally got to meet his real parents and looks forward to getting to know both her and Leon more in the future. Convinced by her son's words of encouragement she hugs Kole promising to make things right, to which he responds by hugging her back.
About a few months later since the incident, Kole and Alicia moved in with Alba who happens to own a small house by the coast which she managed to buy with royalties she earned during her time as a porn actress and model, although she is still up to her usually shenanigans (such as walking barely wearing any clothing if any at all and being a shameless pervert in general) she decided to clean up her act a bit by giving up smoking and drinking. Kole, now with his new life to look forward to, takes the opportunity to look back at everything that lead him up to this point. Although he endured many hardships along the way in the end he now has the one thing he could ever want in life, a family
