I am fairly sure that when Viridian invited her friends around for breakfast, this isn’t exactly what they planned, I’m sure they knew something was up! But they probably weren’t expecting this.
With Jerek, Viridian’s partner being an avid gamer, I’m sure Viridian can find lots of inspiration from watching him play video games, and as it turns out Micro Machines is a great source of inspiration! Whoever wins the race gets zapped by the raygun! It’s probably set to grow, right?

Thanks! I have a huge love for V3. While not as particularly blatant as this one, the periodic table was inspired by the same game.

Amusingly in Micro Machines V3 on the Playstation 1, there's a science level, where you drive up a jump from a science desk into a shrink ray which causes you to land in a petri dish. The camera then pans to above the lens of the microscope, you drive around at a microscopic size for a bit then leap out the other size and get zapped back up in size again. Some of the levels felt so inspired. haha.
I like all the details scattered around here as is usual for you. The various food items, the fact you bought the cupboards in the background and how there seems to be refraction on that straw. You're one of the greats of this fandom for a reason!
This is also quite an interesting premise, and the hot wheels style cars look great too. By macro standards this is slice of life and that is quite fun. I wonder where that track is going though? Presumably towards her?
Lastly, who's that character on the front of the cereal box?

Thanks! Even in the smaller pics it's fun to scatter things around the scene, and scenarios like this kinda build themselves.
It's based heavily on micro machines rather than Hotwheels , but the premise is similar. Micro Machines just always used the actual environment a lot more than Hotwheels did which I always thought was a lot more interesting. Hotwheels prefer to keep things on the orange track.
This track could be going anywhere, and knowing Viridian it's probably going to be going down into her lab. Or perhaps it's just a small loop in the kitchen.
And that's Scareye. Fang tells me that Scareye makes for a good breakfast, so it makes sense that years later she'd be a breakfast mascot.
