Curator and Kyro, Plastification, Scene I, Draft III
I can't stop, I have to keep adding things. The paper itself is starting to get structurally weak, so it's time to snapshot and scan again
The Curator seems to have collected a few more trophies since the last sketch. The curator is setting up and making sure that Kyro is well secured as a Sergeant in his collection, gruff, tough, and without mercy.
Too bad his eyes give away his fear and surprise.
And it appears that two more trophies have appeared in the background, all of these guys in green plastic and well secured, unable to talk without permission, and certainly unable to move. Soon they'll be mentally uplinked and will participate in a tactical simulation together. Perhaps they'll do that naval ship (as in Oceanic) one from the past where a lot of ships sank. Experiencing drowning several times should be interesting, unless they stop screwing up.

Is this one any better? Any more interesting? Did I forget anything? I made some minor additions, but I don't know if they will do any good. But the paper is losing structural integrity because of all the work I've done on it, so, I have to lightbox this soon.
I'll be adding more people in the next version ... and again, if anyone has any curator (the guy with the horns) dialogue towards Kyro ... please let me know and submit it here!

I keep thinking that a bit of Bond dialogue would be fitting here (you know, along the lines of Bond's and Goldfinger's famous quips of "Do you expect me to talk?" - "No, Mr Bond. I expect you to die"), but I'm not familiar enough with the movies (or books, for that matter) to come up with a fitting tidbit that could be adapted - and that'd still work well with Bond (that is, Kyro) silenced. :)
I'm sorry for the awful pose, the plastic figures I had with me in Maine weren't my complete set and the few that I grabbed and put into a bag ... ended up being the WORST of the set. 'll come up with a better one.
I am not sure about the additions that I put onto Kyro from the last picture so that I'll think about. I'll be able to work on this again this week on Thursday.

Thank you. Although I'm hitting a few art skill walls that I hope to break .... the paper is starting to get weak too so I need to transfer what I like over with a lightbox and keep going. At least I picked up a kneaded eraser so the next attempts shouldn't be so paper hungry. I'm also wondering if I should zoom out a bit so at least we can see Kyro's legs, but I'm not sure. Still hemming and hawing about some of the details that I've added to Kyro and how many more vict... err, volunteers I should add.
Still, it's fun, even if the next time I can attempt stuff is Thursday. :P

I didn't have that guy in the small bucket I had in Maine when I had the studio time. Now that I am back in Boston and with all of the supplies again, I can bring that guy out.
I was cursing the fact that I only had a tiny subset of the good plastic figures with me this weekend and the ones that I did have were from the sucky semi broken batch.
So I'll be reengineering some of the poses. Right now I am debating whether or not I should zoom the picture out to show more of Kyro and The Curator to show more of them or have the current mix of having Kyro being nicely detailed with the guys in the back being the full display models.
Maybe I'm thinking a bit too much on this. I need an art expert.
