~ * History * ~
Pacino was not born of any noble heritage or spectacular lineage. She's was born and raised in Agartha. She was an average doe, only seeking to live out her days in comfort and peace. She was always careful and cautious, never wanting to draw attention to herself. She hasn't always been like this. As a young fawn she was curious and outgoing, always wanting to discover something new. Something her mother seeked to stomp out. Her mother would always tell her to never look back. To always be cautious and to run at the sound of danger. Never question this logic or you may soon find yourself as one of the forgotten ones.
The forgotten ones is something her family past down from doe to fawn, each generation. It is presumed that a deer that is falled by a beast will become lost in the afterlife. Never finding their way towards the great fields with their ancestors. Their names are not to be spoken of or they might just drag you into the depths of the forgotten forest with them. This of course scared all the young fawns into listening to their mothers, but not Pacino. Her curiosity could not be faltered despite her mother's constant vigilance to guide her. However, Pacinos' curiosity would soon be put to the test when it meant putting herself in danger.
One day outside the forest, in the fields boarding the neighboring herd, Pacino went to investigate the buzzards circling in the sky. She was meant to be hiding while her mother grazed, but curiosity got the best of her. Her mother always told her to be wary of buzzards, as little beast were always lurking around them and little beast were a threat to a young fawn. But the wisdom of her mother couldn't convince the young fawn to head her warning. The temptation to see what the commotion was about was just too enticing. So the little fawn crept away, as to not draw attention to herself from her mother who was busy grazing nearby.
The closer she got, the more excited she felt. To be this close to discovering the source of the buzzards focus was thrilling to her. She felt like a brave adventurer, out on a scout to discover something new. But her thrill seeking adventure would soon turn to horror upon her gazing of the site of a half buried and mangled rabbit. She quickly tried to turn around, but was soon stopped by a beast. She hadn't notice it, but the beast had been circling her ever since she left her mother's proximity. The beast was small enough that a kick from a large doe could cause it fatal injury, the beast at least knew that from somewhere. But a young fawn was no match for its strength and it would not let this opportunity go to waste.
The beast lunged at her, jaws wide open revealing a mouth full of sharp teeth. Pacino just barely evaded the attack. She had little time to think, just run. And to run is what she was built for. She ran fast, fast enough that the beast had trouble keeping up. Pacino tried calling out to her mother, but her mother never came. Pacino cried louder and louder, eventually closing her eyes to scream her lungs out. But that ended up being a mistake. Pacino tripped over her own legs, crashing into the ground. She was done for and she knew it. As the beast closed in, the words of her mother ringed in her mind. She was going to end up a forgotten one.
But to her luck, the jaws of the beast never clamped down. It seems her screams were heard, but not by her mother. A stranger. A stranger stop to help, but what she witness was just as horrifying. The stranger stamp down on the beast, sharp hooves piercing the beast flesh. It was too much for her to see, or thank the stranger for the help. She got up and ran, ran towards the last known location of her mother. She never wanted to see that again. She would never disobey her mother again. From this day forward she would head her mother's words. She would follow them closely, never loosing site to her curiosity again.
