This ref took almost a month, and it all started with the spontaneous idea "let's update the old ref?". Then we decided to make a couple of changes to the character design, then we change the colors as well and so on, but it was worth it!
In the beginning, it was quite difficult to do it, honestly, it took a lot of nerves, that even at some moments I just gave up. But the result exceeded all my expectations, the feeling that I jumped above my head and I am incredibly proud of it!

It's been a very long process, but it's finally gone wonderfully, in the best possible way and well beyond expectations. You can be extremely proud of the enormous progress you've made and the hard work you've put into this reference and new design. We worked hard but in final you're the one who gets the full credit for this amazing piece of work! Words won't be enough to describe my emmense joy . You're the best My Nuggy!!
I always love reference sheets like this, that are more than just "here's the character's body and features", and go above and beyond by aiming at being art themselves <3
Also I just want to say the concept of a dragon that appears to be engulfing their body in flames simply as a means to vent internal heat is an amazing concept that fits dragons thematically!

You really outdid yourself with effect, details and anatomy applied to this gorgeous wyvern
I cannot adore enough the little yet nice detail of flame exaust though the narrows between scale plates of his neck
This is just inspirational and makes me feel awe
Probably one of the most detailed refs i had seen for a while and you did it in such an awesome fashion it is impossible not to adore your work here
