The other painting I'm working on for AB, a companion to "Painting the Sky With Stars" and the same pic from the lineart posted weeks ago. I'm not thrilled with the background of this one but it's coming together better than I could have hoped for. I LOVED it until I made the mistake of dying the background with a dulled down Burnt sienna. It would have been fine but I thought a tiny bit of salt would ad some subtle texture but then accidentally spilled the shaker.
Alas. As I've told people before, Watercolor is for the brave. By that I mean, you need to be able to suck it up and deal with what comes.
