Dwang, Celestial Drake of Haat'Tar by

Some info:
Dwang ascended to becoming a Celestial Drake through series of misfortunate events and wrong life choices. Originally an Irrokka (local lizard beings from Haat) that grown up in the wilderness, not part of any tribe. Dwang became a wilderness scout and ranger later. Keeping nomadic way of life, he took most of the opportunities to make a name for himself by working as private contractor. Eventually he crossed path with Kimberlian, another Irrokka and priestess of Golden Dawn tribe. On Kimberlian's behalf Dwang rummaged temples in search for knowledge that could aid the ambitious priestess. Yet, he got captured when raiding Elion's temple. Dwang's hunt for knowledge didn't go unnoticed and he was taken to Sanctuary Shard for Council's judgement. Dwang soon ended up in the same cell with Kimberlian, surprising them both. They kept stoic and didn't disclose their connection, as their separate crimes were enough to write a final and tragic page in the book of their life. Eventually Dwang was able to reason with Reeva and instead of harsh imprisonment, he got a chance to take penance, officially becoming the 'sinner'. Kimberlian remained to wait for her fate, while Dwang got transferred to the library of Elion's palace. Working hard and finally getting access (even if supervised and restricted) to all knowledge Dwang ever wanted, he didn't tried escape. As years passed, penance eventually ended, despite that Dwang didn't leave the library, arranging Sanctuary Shard citizenship for himself and continuing his job as hired worker, becoming a scholar and walking slow path to enlightenment.

One day Kimberlian reached her ascension, becoming a Celestial Drake, she visited Dwang in her new form. They spoke for hours, stargazed together, shared stories about their past. Kimberlian shown Dwang the long path to ascension, wanting to have ally in a future. Joke of fate - by the time Dwang reached his ascension, Kimberlian again got into trouble, stained her reputation and was cast down by Elion, becoming the Fallen Celestial. With no friend near to explain what happening, one day Dwang woke up from vivid dream, just to feel himself sick, blood pulsing in the veins, head getting dizzy, golden glow emanating from the body. As Dwang walked around the palace, angelic sentinels were only smiling and pointing to the exit, without giving hint of what happening, it was looking surreal, but didn't last long. It took great effort for Dwang to exit the palace gates and take a seat on the stairs leading down to the square. At some point, he was unable to resist the changes, to hold it off longer. Dwang's Irrokka's body were lifted into air by unseen force then exploded into pure energy. Elion arrived and shaped Dwang's energy form into new ascended being, a Celestial Drake. Later, after many years of training, Dwang got his white skull mask as indication that he's a seasoned Celestial Drake. Being thankful for a chance given to him, Dwang agreed to become part of Elion's palace guards. In case of emergency, he would be in the first line of defence, securing gates to the palace and holding his ground no matter what. Off-duty Dwang is laid back and relaxed, except when dealing with Kimberlian, he always tensed near her, despite being friends.
