All my warmest memories are about my friends. Last summer, we managed to gather in one place, even though some of us live a thousand miles from each other. We met rainy season together, and we all talked sitting on a small balcony, while rain pelted our windows.
While I'm with my friends, I feel seen and understood, like I really exist and like I can thrive just like any other person. It's really hard to feel positive about myself while I'm isolated. I'm forever grateful for the people I met.
