These snakes sure do love their sweaty socks as food, whether they digest them or not. They feel more satisfying to wrap around, constrict, and swallow from their coils if the socks themselves are stuffed with equally proportioned and stuffed layers of other sweaty socks. Not that they won't go for unstuffed socks as they're equal opportunity sock swallowers looking to grab the nearest sock to ingest whole for their taste, smell, and feel as snake food. Sometimes they just go for one, stuffed or unstuffed, or they go for as many as their stomach can contain. After their feast, the snakes leave every swallowed sock inside their stomach, coated in gastric juices digesting what they can. When a snake has had its fun stomaching its sock buffet and don't plan on digesting it, they regurgitate it and seek out other sweaty socks to eat.
