Yeah, couldn't help but return to The Dash only a month after publishing an art piece about my old MLP OC. However, I retained Midnightfire1222, the artist.

But how come I got two pictures from her within a month? Well... I may or may not have participated in Midnight's 25-follower art raffle over at her Bluesky profile and got another shot at a free image. I know; shame on me for taking the opportunity from others. I just couldn't help it, y'know... :3 And I Pinkie promise I won't stand in the way of others winning a raffle prize by Midnight next time.

Anyway, about the picture itself. It turned out great! Dash's pose is pretty neat, and I like that she has a serene expression - a feature I usually choose when commissioning someone else for a Dash picture. Also, Midnight is now part of the select few who understand how the feather patterns work on Dash's tail. (Note: there is a difference.) The fact that Midnight told me how much she enjoyed drawing Dash's wings - usually the biggest pain in the neck for many - is just the icing on the cake.

Still, the most impressive thing about this drawing is how fast it came together. Midnight announced the raffle's winners on February 26, 2024. Mere three (!) days later, I received my fully-fledged flat-color picture. As such, she's now in the elite club of artists who drew Dash multiple times. Once, there were two, and now there are three. ^^
