Went to Manhattan Beach in LA on a whim after I got a new [bigger] desk at IKEA. Went to my phone for advanced surfing spots and this was the closest, lol. I figured with my recent luck taking snowboarding pictures, I would try my hand at some surfing ones as well. Keep in mind that Ive snowboarded for most of my life but Ive only surfed once. I know where to go and what to look for for a snowboard shot but I have no idea what places are good spots for surfing or how to know when theyll be going off or not.

Anyway, some unknown guy who was the best there and close enough for my 200mm to reach. Im hoping to get one of the Sigma Bigma 150-500/50-500mm lenses down the road so I can get birds and surfers...both elusive creatures and easily frightened.
