Mercury's Past: Early Mercenary Days 1

Paradox: Let's take a trip to the past shall we?
*Pulls out a pocketwatch*
Setting: Taking up Mercenary Life, before meeting Kimo
Mercury was doing some gambling at Spinda's Cafe and really winning his earnings. The mother of Marill and Azurill begged Mercury to capture Drowzee and rescue her two boys. Feeling a bit of emotion, he took the job. She told him the boys were seen going up Mt. Bristle and she said he can keep Drowzee and his bounty and even offered to pay his tab if he got her boys back.
After traveling up Mt. Bristle, he spotted the Drowzee wearing Marill and threatening to flatten Azurill if he didn't get the treasure hoard. Drowzee outraged that Azurill fled crying, He flattened the Azuill and going to use him as a stuffer, but much to his surprise, he saw the Lugia and was taunting how he'd make a great diaper, unaware that Mercury already built up a reputation.
Mercury easily overpowered the Drowzee and took the Marill diaper off him, Mercury decided to show him how to really flatten poke pamps, much to the Drowzee's horror realizing who he's up against.
Mercury wasted no time in KO'ing the Drowzee and using his Psychic powers to flatten the Drowzee and he gave him a full blast of his pamp breathe. Mercury got to keep the Drowzee diaper and had to wait for Marill and Azurill to return to normal or he wouldn't get paid, but there happiness and joy did warm his cold heart and they were laughing at the Drowzee's predictament, worried if Mercury would keep him or turn him over to Pamper Down.

Mercury is usually accompanied by Kimo, Mona 3 and others, but sometimes i like to delve into his past life. So if Mercury alone this is likely before he met some other key character back when he was cold hearted mercenary, but helping the weak did melt it a little bit and this was the second mother Mercury helped who was in a bind.
This was also pitched by a friend, but I decided to add my own little twist, not sure if i'll make this a new series, but will likely be rare as Mercury loves being with Kimo and Mona.

I just LOVE seeing canon chars in your little world, and Drowzee n Azurill are just fun ideas!~^^
Such a nice story too, and gosh Mercury just looks so cute here!~ X3c Kinda like he's still just a youngster^^ (thinking about it now it actually reminds me of my own loog Silverwing ;3c Not sure if I've mentioned him before but he was definitely this cute and mischievous as a child~^^)

Won't lie i was satisfied by this, I know it's rare to get Merc art without Kimo, but seeing them do their job and knock out that Drowzee in better along with saving the two water mouses proves that Mercury is more than just someone who is friendly but also by saving others and most importantly he's hard to defeat especially when you're a Lugia and if you're that Drowzee, you would be screwed
